St.Gorg Preca Parish Church

Archbishop Paul Cremona declared the autonomous zone of Swatar as a parish dedicated to St.Gorg Preca, Malta's first Saint. The new parish, which took territory from Msida and Birkirkara, was formally created on November 8 - 2008 and brought the number of parishes in Malta to 70. At first in the 1980's, Sunday Mass was held in a garage, later in the basement of the Pastoral centre and then when the building was finished in 2004 on the main floor. A perpetual Adoration Chapel was inaugurated 17th March 2012.

St. Martin's College is a private High School, which caters for students up to 18yrs of age. Among its facilities is also a Chapel.
